As the renovation wraps up so too does this class in Understanding & Developing Multimedia. This page demonstrates the different aspects of Flash that were covered in class.
The opening scene uses the word "Vermont" as a mask while a panoramic snowy landscape passes behind.
On press of the button, the landscape is revealed as snow - both polystars shape-tweening into snowballs, and the graphic image of a snowflake following a path tween - float down on the vista. Also a bird flies across the scene in a frame-by-frame animation.
Then the little barn in the landscape expands to reveal windows with pull-shades to expose (or conceal) little surprises! The shades are multiple copies of a movie clip controlled by the "over" state of a button. One of the shades divulges a button to take you into the renovation.
The enter button uses a random number generator to both pick a frame to show and generate dynamic text to describe the image on that frame.
